| In that the husband is referred to as his wife's "kurios" in 1 Peter 3:6 it is indeed true that he is her "master". |

| Yes. The man is specified as being the head of the wife (I Corinthians 11:3), and she is to submit to her husband (Ephesians 5:22-25). However, there are good and bad "masters", and if husbands are bad ones, they will answer eternally for it (Ephesians 6:8-9; Colossians 3:22-25). |
