Hello,

You know, I've been thinking for a while about the
Christian and self-defense. What I mean is, do you
think that when a Christian stands for the truth, and
it ends with someone getting angry and possibly lead
to a physical attack, that the Christian has a right
to fight back physically? I look at Jesus sufferings (Matthew 26:67) ,
Paul the apostle's suffering (2 Corinthians 11:23-2, and Stephen, the first
Christian martyr's suffering (Acts 7:54-60), and then I ask, "are
these supposed to be bore the same way today"? You
know that enduring physical attack is
something we rarely see today (of course because of
our law in this country toward freedom of religion).

So, are there any thoughts on this? The only
thing I can think of now is that if I see that someone
around me is in real physical danger, then I will
probably fight for them, and pray that I didn't go to
far. But, as far as it happening to me "personally",
I haven't come to a complete conclusion as to whether
God will hold me accountable.

Why are some against birth control and condoms and also against abortions?
I would assume anyone against abortions would naturally be for things that prevent it.

And where in the bible dose it talk about these issues?

Oh yeah. why doesn't the bible talk about the creation of the earth but not the other planets or galaxies or nebulae or black holes or the big bang? or does it?
surly god was proud and would want to talk about all the other cool stuff he created.

Does evolution exist?
How old is the Earth?
Is the sky a dome?
is the earth flat?
Is the earth at the center of the universe?
do the planets revolve around the earth?

Can someone tell me what is taught, regarding those questions, to most Christians today in contrast to what the bible says?

If the bible said that men had to be submissive and women were the dominant ones, got to make all the decisions and get all the jobs wouldn't you want your rights too? Men wrote the bible so they are the dominant ones. If you wrote the bible you wouldn't want caring and compassionate women getting in the way of what you did.

I think you should form your opinion based on where they stand on the issues yet none of them are strongly on those issues because of corporate interests. If you want to try and bring back America to what it used to be I would vote Ron Paul because he takes no money from corporations or special interest groups and will abolish the federal reserve which has caused America its most important problems. Since Ron Paul told the truth he was ignored or laughed at by the media which is owned by giant corporations. Today though electric voting machines are rigged and have been to make whoever the Fed wants to be in power. I dont think god chooses who is president though because his vote matters just as much as yours.

I don't understand your implication. How would you suggest that He "realize our time scale"?

If god made us a divine plan shouldn't he try to realize our time scale relative to his, since he did create us.
