Marc, A man must know when he has done all he can. It saddens me to see this study end as it is. I pray your conscience is never able to dismiss nor grow accustomed to the sting of the conflicts and contradictions. Saying this does not prove anything, but its all I can pray now. May God help us both

Marc, The Israelites deliverance occurred before the Red Sea. They were already "God's people". Just because they were Jews does not make them "God's people". There will be many Jews in Hell. "... For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of A...

Re: article on self-esteem
First, might I suggest using the article as a handout? It may be cheesy, but sometimes people appreciate having follow-up material for further consideration. I apologize for not being clearer in my article. Please let me try to clarify. All of the "false standards of confidence" that were mentioned ...

Marc, If the Jews would not cross the Red sea then they never believed in Moses to begin with. To answer your question (one of them?) no mere acceptance of leadership does not save. It must be from the heart. If it is not followed by actions, from the heart or not, it is still a mere acceptance. It ...

Marc, I will not be accessing my e-mail for a while, almost 2 weeks, so please take your time to think about and respond to this note. Also, I was unable to finish reviewing your previous note, but I wanted to send to you my current "rough draft". Hopefully, I can finish the response in about 2 week...

Marc, Again, would you please answer these verses? In Galatians 3:26-27 , Paul referenced that those Gentile Christians had been "baptized into Christ" . If these Gentile Christians were added into Christ's body at the point of belief, then how did baptism get them "into Christ" , if they were alrea...

Marc, Thanks for again responding. Given the length of the note, I found it easiest just to reference and respond to the individual ideas of your note, which are provided below. I look forward to hearing from you again. BTW, at some point, you might find it profitable to go through some of our onlin...

Thanks for clarifying your points. I am glad to hear that you are continuing to study and learn. Hopefully, these thoughts will be profitable to you as you continue your studies. First, although I also believe that only those who truly believe will confess and be baptized, I do not believe that just...

Marc, I apologize for the excessive delay. We have been overwhelmed with inquiries and responses, and since we do not use automatically generated responses, it takes longer than one might would expect. Again, I apologize, but I hope this note will still prove to be profitable to you in your efforts ...

Re: Thanks for the reply
One of the "classic" arguments for the existence of God is one based on the human need for God. After reading your e-mail, it occurred to me that this might make more sense to you now, than it ever did for me. Why do you sit up reading message boards on philosophy and religion? There is nothing sad ...

Thank you for contacting us. We always appreciate others' opinions, even when it does not concur with our own. Since you found our web-site title offensive and misleading, I would offer this apology. Do you have any thoughts on "truth"? Not just biology-101 truth, but ultimate truth? What is man's p...

If you have not run across this verse yet, you will in your study: "And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant , that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance." Hebrew...

It is true that I believe each person is born innocent. If you've read the articles, then this might be a review, but I would like to hear your answers. I apologize for the logical numbering, but it eases the organization of my thoughts: The virgin birth was not necessitated because of Original Sin....

Thanks for writing. I hope you will allow me to apologize for not answering your question directly. In truth your question is not as simple as one might first think. Depending on what you have in mind, the answer may be "yes" or it may be "no". It is my aim to be affiliated with the following church...

Thank you for your email. I have much appreciated the time you have taken to answer my points in detail. I do feel very strongly about this subject. Let me first tell you a little bit about myself. I am 59 years old, a Civil Engineer but an ordinary Christian. I was brought up as a Muslim, but I be...

let me praise you for your desire to study the Bible and better understand God's Word. "As iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17), so will our study be a blessing for both of us, as long as we sincerely and honestly seek the truth (II Thessalonians 2:10-12). I pray that both of us will come to a bette...
