Assuming a little consistency with the world around us, we can assume that the Creator is greater than the Creation. (For example, compare your house, watch, computer, car, smartphone to the people who made it.) So, for any attribute we possess, whether intellectual, moral, or potential, we would expect God to be greater than us and the universe taken as a whole, since He made it and us all. If there is no Creator, then the universe is either eternal, which violates the natural laws we can observe (Second Law of Thermodynamics - Everything winds down, not up; no perpetual motion, etc.), or the universe sprang from nothing (i.e., spontaneous generation), which is contrary to everything we have ever observed.

We have several articles that lead one from no belief in God to faith in the Bible. Have you seen these?
