Can a woman speak in a (men& women) bible study (Sun. morn or Wed nite)?

Is there a difference between bible study and "the assembly/worship service"?

Thank you.

Yes, women may speak in Bible classes whenever they are conducted.

Yes, there is a difference in the Bible classes and assembly/worship services.

In I Cor. 11:18, the Bible speaks of them coming together as a church.

“For first of all, when you come together as a church…”.

Then in I Cor. 14 Paul gives instructions to the church to do things decently and in order (14:40). In I Cor. 14: 23 we read,

“Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uniformed or unbelievers, will they not say you are out of your minds?”

He goes further in that chapter to regulate tongue speakers and women speaking. With regard to women, he is telling them they are not to address the assembly just as he tells tongue speakers not to address the assembly unless there are interpreters present. When the whole church comes together, the men are to conduct the services.

However, in Bible class arrangements when the whole church is not together, these restrictions are not placed upon women.
