sedimentary rock without cracks all over the world

On the topic of the folding and uplifting of sedimentary rock which occurs in many places all over the world, there are no cracks or breaks in the rocks which indicates that these movements occurred while the rocks were still wet, soft, and pliable. The Bible indicates how that happened:
"He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved. You coverred it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they took to flight. The mountains rose, the valleys sank down to the place that you appointed for them. You set a boundary that they may not pass, so that they might not again cover the earth." Psalm 104:5-9 (ESV)
This seems to be a clear indication of how God brought a close to the great Flood. The waters stood above the mountains but when God decided it was time to end the flood, the waters fled at His rebuke. Then the Psalmist describes how God caused the dry land to appear and the oceans to be formed. "The mountains rose, the valleys sank down." (So translated in ESV, ASV and NASB. The NKJV has this as an alternative translation in the margin.) This would have caused incredible uphevals in the earth's crust which, of course, was mostly composed of layers of sediment laid down by the flood waters. But the sediment had not yet had time to harden and solidify into rock. So it was still soft enough to bend and fold as the mountains rose.
