Christ is not God?

Christ is not God

Some deny the divinity of Christ and claim that Jesus was instead the first and greatest of God's creatures. From here things get even more bizarre.

Someone claimed that Michael the Archangel transformed from his spiritual self into the human self of Jesus. Upon His death, he once again became Michael the Archangel.

Who actually believes this? There is no scripture for it, but yet people are following it why?
...in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power...

1 Thess 4:16
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
NASU

This is the scripture that is used to proclaim that Jesus was an Archangel by some of the JW, this is set in contrast with the many passages that prove that He is God.

So let us weigh out the choices Jesus: an archangel or God?

The Nature of Christ
If the New Testament clearly affirms the divine nature of Jesus Christ, and yet the Lord referred to the Father as “my God,” then obviously there is no compromise of the Savior’s nature by his use of this expression.

The biblical affirmations of the divine nature of Jesus Christ are beyond dispute to any student of the scriptures who has a threshold level of interpretative ability. The following facts are evident.

First, the Old Testament unequivocally foretold the coming of the incarnate God (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 40:3; 44:6; Jeremiah 23:5-6; Micah 5:2; Zechariah 13:7).

Second, Christ claimed to be deity in nature (John 5:17-18;10:30), and others acknowledged him as such, even worshipping him—both angels (Hebrews 1:6), and men (Matthew 2:2; 14:33; John 20:28).

In Mark 2 is the bible account of the paralytic that Jesus healed. Four men carried the paralytic to Jesus, there were such great crowds around Jesus. The men climbed on the roof on the home where Jesus was and broke thru the roof allowing them to lower the paralytic on his bed to Jesus below. When Jesus saw their faith. He said to te paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."

The scribes that were sitting by reasoned in their hearts, "why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone. Here shows Christ's being able to forgive sins, which only God can do.

Would not this account also show the deity of Christ, the divine nature of God to forgive sins.
